Wirksworth Festival

Runing for two weeks every September, Wirksworth, that Gem of the Peak, will be awash with creative types, exhibitionists and real ale enthusiasts (a small band crossing all three), starting with the Arts & Architecture trail where the shops and houses of the town transform themselves into a higgle-dee-piggle-dee art gallery and market place.
Come along, get your badge and explore over 100 artists in 80 venues. Then on Sunday relax and listen to some banging hard core rock in the marketplace for Gig on The Roof - the 10 year special.
