Midlands Road Safety Partnership

Getting a road safety message across to 80,000 ardent bikers was never going to be easy - but that was the challenge set by the MIdlands Safety Camera Partnership for their planned exhibition space at the NEC International Motorbike and Scooter Show. Taking advice that bikers only go to see bikes, we decided to show them one - that had been involved in a road collision, complete with sound effects and smoke machine. We got to close a notorious accident black spot with the police to recreate the scene and filmed the emergency services response.
