Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Board

Asked to help raise young people's voice within the annual Safeguarding Children Conference, we opted to use a mix of arts based workshops to engage with young people at risk. Carefully selected artists worked with small groups in schools around the region developing programmes that they could roll out to larger groups and capture more opinions and ideas. These culminated in performances and workshops for the practitioners themselves led by the young people - including rap, street dance and DJing.
